General Partner and co-founder of Belle Michigan
Terese is a General Partner and co-founder of Belle Michigan and the founder of Thayer-Carver, Inc., a management consulting and transaction advisory services firm. She has over fifteen years of experience in supply chain, finance and accounting, sales, business development, and strategy in manufacturing, mining, distribution, retail, and technology organizations. Terese began her career in Detroit in Arthur Andersen’s Audit Division. After public accounting, Terese led the financial reporting, operational analysis, budgeting, and long-term planning and forecasting functions at Holcim (US), the US subsidiary of Holcim, Ltd., a Swiss-based global construction materials firm. In 2004, she moved into Holcim (US)’s operations taking on senior management roles in supply chain management and strategy, business development and sales, before founding Thayer-Carver, Inc. in 2009. From 2010 to 2011, she held the role of Director, Supply Chain for Lhoist North America, a privately held global lime and limestone products firm, until she returned to her consulting practice. Terese has presented seminars on multiple supply chain and business planning topics, including the Institute of Business Forecasting (IBF). Currently, she is a member of the AICPA, the MACPA, SWARS and APICS, and serves on Michigan Technological University’s Corporate Advisory Board for Institutional Diversity where she is the co-chair of the fundraising committee.
